Chief Deputy Boyce joined the Berrien County Sheriff's Office in 1995 after having served as an Officer for the City of Benton Harbor from 1989 - 1995.
Chief Deputy Boyce is a graduate of Kenowa Hills High School and has an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice from Grand Rapids Community College.
During Chief Deputy Boyce's tenure with the Berrien County Sheriff's Office he has served in the jail division, road patrol division, dispatch, criminal investigation unit, and the narcotics unit.
During Chief Deputy Boyce's career with the Berrien County Sheriff's Office he has held the rank of Deputy, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, and now Chief Deputy.
During Chief Deputy Boyce's career with the Benton Harbor City Police Department he held the position of patrol officer and detective.
Chief Deputy Boyce resides in St. Joseph and is married to the love of his life, Mary, who has two wonderful children, who are all part of his life.
