This is D/Lt. Fred Laesch of the Berrien County Sheriff’s Department for Crime Stoppers. The crime of the week comes from the files of the Berrien Co. Sheriff’s Department.
On January 14, 2018 at approximately 11:28 AM the Berrien Co. Sheriff’s Dept. responded to the 2200 block of Wagner Rd., in Weesaw Township in reference to a malicious destruction of property and larceny complaint. The unknown suspects entered onto the property and caused damage in excess of $10,000 to a tunnel made of metal and vines. The suspects also stole a portion of a yard art piece valued in excess of $6,000.
