MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND UPDATE:
PIPESTONE ROAD INTERSECTION WILL BE REOPENED FOR THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND.
THE PIPESTONE ROAD CLOSURE AT NAPIER AVENUE WILL RESUME ON 5/30/23.

Memorial Day Weekend Traffic Restriction Update: From Friday, 5/26/2023 through Monday, 5/29/2023 the intersection of Pipestone Road at Napier Avenue will be open to traffic. Expect traffic restrictions on Pipestone Road to resume on Tuesday, 5/30/2023.
PROJECT: Napier Avenue from Plaza Drive to Crystal Avenue will have lane closures to facilitate road milling, resurfacing, joint and crack repair. One lane of traffic will be maintained on Napier Avenue in each direction during project. Full project to be completed by 9/30/2023.
Traffic Restrictions will RESUME on Tuesday, 5/30/2023: Pipestone Road will resume being closed to all traffic at the Napier Avenue intersection AFTER Memorial Day for the duration of the project. Local traffic will have to utilize the detour route to access properties or businesses, signed detour routes will be posted. That information is as follows:
Northbound Pipestone Road Traffic Detour: M-139 to Pipestone Road
Southbound Pipestone Road Traffic Detour: M-139 to Napier Avenue to Plaza Drive to Fairplain Drive to Mall Drive to Pipestone Road
During construction, Napier Avenue will have lane closures in place to facilitate work. Contractor will maintain one lane of travel for traffic going in each direction between Plaza Drive and Crystal Avenue. The intersection of Pipestone Road will be closed.
Expect possible travel delays.
Remember to reduce speeds when traveling through work zones.
Watch out for construction workers and equipment.
