12/31/2021 - Ordinarily the Emergency Management Office does not alert our spotter network of normal snowfall events; but, this has not been a normal winter. We have not had many snowfall events this year and we are considering this weekend to be the first significant snowfall of the year........or we should say first significant snow of the winter season. We are expecting greater than 4 inches of snow in the area over Saturday and Sunday. See the below link for details on this event. We also expect traffic issues to occur, especially on the major freeways and state trunk lines as people adjust their driving behavior. Have a Happy New Year and stay safe!
