The sirens will be tested over the next 3 weeks, beginning the week of September 14th, 2020. Each siren within the 10-mile radius around the Cook Nuclear Plant will be tested individually, running for about 30 seconds at a time. Testing will be conducted between Monday through Friday, between 8 am and 6 pm.
If you notice a siren that is damaged or not working, report it immediately to the Berrien County Emergency Management Office at (269) 983-7111 ext. 4915.
