A contractor will be doing paving work to some county roads beginning on Monday, June 22nd 2020, starting with Livingston Road and Gast Road. The paving operation will apply some hot mixed asphalt in select areas of the roadway to provide additional structure to the roadway. After these roads have had the "scratch course" applied they will then be prepared for sealcoating operations by Road Department staff. After roads have been sealcoated they will then receive pavement markings.
During the application of the scratch course, one lane of traffic will be maintained to thru traffic. Traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Traffic should anticipate possible delays if approaching one of these work zones or seek alternative routes around.
