3/14/2019 - According to the NWS, there is a potential of severe weather across in Berrien County today.  

  • The primary potential severe weather hazards today include damaging wind gusts in excess of 60 mph, along with the risk of isolated tornadoes.  Isolated large hail is also possible but of low confidence. 
  • The greatest risk of severe weather is this afternoon into early this evening.  
  • In addition to the severe weather potential, non-thunderstorm winds will become strong this afternoon with southerly gusts to 50 mph possible. 
  • A wind advisory is in effect for the entire area for this afternoon into early this evening.  

Stay weather aware today and be prepared to take safety should threatening weather approach. Be sure to stay updated on later forecasts and have a way to receive any watches or warnings that are issued.
