Trails are open for fat biking (no fat bike rentals available at this time), snowshoeing, skate and XC skiing. We will have snowshoes and skis available for rent from 10am to 3:30pm, all equipment needs to be in by 4:45 pm.
There was just enough snow to establish a good base, but not to set tracks. We were really hoping for another few inches this afternoon, but unfortunately that did not happen. We still welcome you to come out and enjoy the trails. There will be rental fees, but no trail fees for skiing. As always, there is a park entry fee (ask about annual permit).
Due to covid-19 there are few guidelines in place for everyone's safety. Everyone who enters the nature center must be wearing a face covering. There will be a limited number of people allowed in the nature center at one time, this includes the warming room which will also have time limits. Hot cocoa, coffee and snacks will be available for carryout only (no eating in the nature center). If you are renting skis, please call the nature center before entering the building as this helps us space out groups in the building. 269-471-2617
We hope everyone had a great Christmas and gets an opportunity to enjoy the snow!
Nature Center Building Hours: Wed - Fri 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Closed Monday - Tuesday. Trails open daily.
