The Berrien County Health Department can help you find health care insurance or a more affordable way to access health insurance coverage. Our staff can help you figure out which health insurance programs you are eligible for and what will work best for you. Healthy Michigan Plan is health insurance coverage for State of Michigan residents ages 19-64 who meet income and other eligibility guidelines.
MIChild/Healthy Kids is a health insurance program. It is for uninsured children and pregnant women in Michigan.
MOMS is a health coverage program which provides prenatal and medically necessary ambulatory post-partum care to women who would not otherwise qualify for this coverage through the Medicaid program. There is no online enrollment for this program.
Plan First provides a family planning service benefit for non-pregnant women ages 19 to 44.
