Public Health nurses provide chronic and communicable disease control services including immunizations, tuberculosis, flu clinics, and disease outbreak control. Public health nurses also provide home visits to individuals and families. They provide education, consultation, health referrals and coordination of services for a variety of health-related issues such as communicable disease, lead poisoning, parenting, and nutrition.
