Educational Services

About the Educational Program

Individualized and group educational services are provided by a team of highly qualified, special education certified teachers employed with the Berrien County Regional Education Services Agency. Great emphasis is placed on helping youth be successful in school and develop study habits that will help them be successful in community schools. The mission of the educational program is “To provide students with skills and attitudes to re-enter school and/or work constructively.”

School Schedule

School is conducted Monday through Friday.

School Attendance

All residents are required to attend school and receive academic credit for their work while they are in the Center. The resident’s regular school will receive information regarding their attendance and grades received for work completed at the center.

If the resident is no longer enrolled in a school program their attendance, grades, and behavioral progress while at the Center will be forwarded to those who are in charge of their case.
