• Coloma area Boy Scouts collect newspaper as a fundraiser. Take newspaper to the collection shed at McDonald’s in Coloma. Contact Julie at 468-7479 for more information.
• Curbside Recycling Programs: often accept paper for recycling. Please note which kind of paper is accepted in which program. Not all paper is accepted in each program. See CURBSIDE RECYCLING in this guide.
• Drop-off Recycling Program: often accept paper for recycling. Not all paper is accepted at each site - pay attention to signage at each site to find out what kind of paper is accepted. See DROP-OFF RECYCLING in this guide.
• Gateway Main: 201 Sylvester St., Berrien Springs. 471-2897. Accepts paper and cardboard for recycling. Call for drop-off instructions.
• Other Scout groups and community groups may run a paper-drive, fundraising project in your area. Check directly with the local groups.

Document Shredding

• Gateway Services: 201 Sylvester St., Berrien Springs. 471-2897. Document destruction at Gateway facility. Pick up services for businesses/large quanitites.
• Integra Secure Document and Shredding Service: www.integrashred.com. 800-292-7836. Will be at the Southeast Berrien County Landfill Recycle Station May 19 and October 20, 8 a.m. to Noon. Residents can get documents shredded on-site.
• Maud Preston Palenske Memorial Library: 500 Market St., St. Joseph. 983-7167. Personal document shredding machine on-site and open to the public. See front desk for user information.
• Metro Business Archives: 1994 Plaza Dr., Benton Harbor. 926-4100. Document shredding services. Call first for details. Metro Business Archives performs a number of community shredding events in the County throughout the year.
• Reduce, Reuse, Recycle Day @ Lake MI College: April 11, 2012, 3-7 p.m., see event details on inside, front cover of this guide. Metro Business Archives will shred documents from residents only at this event.
