The Berrien County Parks Commission is formulating plans for the 2015-2019 County Parks Five Year Plan. This plan will help guide Berrien County in its park and recreation planning and development efforts over the next five years and serve as a strategic reference document for future decision making. On Wednesday, October 15th at 5:30pm, at Love Creek County Park, 9292 Huckleberry Road, Berrien Center, MI the Parks Commission will review proposed park master plans for both Watervliet and Madeline Bertrand County Parks. The public is encouraged to attend this meeting and provide input and suggestions on the plans. Public comments and suggestions are also encouraged in the development of the Five Year Parks Plan. If the public is not able to attend this meeting, or wishes to provide input on the 2015-2019 Parks Commission Five Year plan, they are encouraged to send written comments to the Berrien County Parks Commission, 701 Main Street, St. Joseph MI 49085 or call the Parks Commission office at (269) 983-7111 ext. 8435.
