National Crime Victims' Rights Week

Posted Date: 3/20/2017

In recognition of the victims of crime in our community, there will be a dedication ceremony on April 6, 2017, at 5:30 PM, outside the Berrien County Courthouse.  Spokespersons from various community agencies, who  are involved daily with  assisting victims of crimes, will be present to share success stories as well as join in with the dedication of a plaque and a flower garden area on courthouse grounds.  In 2016, the Berrien County Prosecutor’s Office, Victim/Witness Services, assisted 2,162 victims of crimes as they walked through the justice system’s process. Community support can be another way that victims experience assistance with finding strength and hope as they journey through their healing process. Please come out to show your support and help continue to strengthen our uniting community.
