Berrien County Animal Control provides services in the manner of an animal shelter and the administration/law enforcement of animal affairs.

You will usually be added and get confirmation within 24 hours. Once you are a member, you can stay up to date on news and information as well as see photos and bios of all of our beautiful animals waiting for their forever home!

Adoption

Adoptions of dogs and cats (including kittens and puppies) are available to the public. The adoption fee for dogs is $50 or $25 if already spayed/neutered; the adoption fee for cats is $30 or $10 if already spayed/neutered.  Receive $50 back after having your dog spayed/neutered and $25 back for your cat after having spayed/neutered. 


Lost/Found Animals

Lost as well as found pets may be reported to the Animal Control Department. Contacting the Animal Control Department could save your pet's life. Your license tag is your pet's ticket home. For information on how to obtain a license, please visit our Dog Licenses page.  


Donations

Donations are always needed and appreciated. Material donations most needed are:

Kitten/Puppy Food Adult Cat/Dog Food Kitty litter
Pet carriers Laundry soap Dish soap
Bleach Litter pans Pet bowls
Brooms and mops Hay & Grain  

Cash donations will go toward the building fund, medical supplies, medical care, and upkeep of the animal.
