You may pay financial obligations imposed by the Court on a case to the Berrien County Trial Court through Government Payment Services.

Government Payment Services
Have your credit card ready and go to 
https://www.govpaynow.com/ (or call toll free 1-888-604-7888).  This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Government Payment Services will charge the cardholder a convenience fee. In order to process your payment, you will need the following information:

  • Court Pay Location Code is 1077 
  • Court case number
  • Defendant's name
  • Defendant's date of birth

You may pay financial obligations imposed by the Court on a case to the Berrien County Trial Court through Western Union.

Western Union
Financial obligations may be paid using Western Union by calling 1-800-634-3422, press 2, or in person at a local Western Union office:

If the defendant is in JAIL:

Bond or financial obligations may be paid using Western Union by calling 1-800-634-3422, press 2, or in person at a local Western Union office:

Code city for Western Union is:  BerrienSheriff

Please note:  From Friday at 5:00 p.m. to Monday at 8:30 a.m., do NOT USE Government Payment Services to pay financial obligations for defendants in jail.  The defendants WILL NOT be able to be released during this time using Government Payment Services.
