The Purchasing Department in Berrien County operates under the direction of the County Coordinator and the Finance Committee of the Berrien County Board of Commissioners. All procurement of goods and services throughout the County is accomplished through the Purchasing Department. Goods and services are purchased via Purchase Orders.

Purchasing Agent Roxanne Romelhardt is the lead staff on all purchases for the Jail, Berrien County Sheriff's Dept, Juvenile Center, Animal Control, Drain Commission, Motorpool, Parks, Printing, all Court related purchases as well as Administration and Information Systems, all copiers, typewriters, fax machines, central supply etc...

The Purchasing Department is responsible for all Central Supply items consisting of the County's paper supply, envelopes, toner cartridges, and desktop products.
